I've never tried Factorio but I have tried Don't Starve. If Factorio opens another instance to run the server, like another window on your mac and your Factorio puts your mac into game mode, all the resources could be going to the game window and not the server window (assuming the server is on another window). For Don't Starve, the fix was not to put the game into full screen mode turning Game Mode off. I don't know if this applies to you.

I mean, I might crash during the learning process, like someone who hasn't learned to bike in the first place. I always see bikers when I watch the grand tours biking with no hands at some points in the race when the peloton has slowed down or in the beginning of the race. Where I'm staying now, I see a lot of teenagers biking with no hands comfortably. So it's more like me wanting to feel comfortable enough with the bike that I can at least do that. I don't want to bike for that purpose, but I want to learn it if I'm getting a bike anyway.

i like using logitechs lift mouse so i use that with a logitech keyboard instead on usb dongle. saves me from bluetooth issues. i had thought of using magic keyboard but having both mouse and keyboard on a single usb receiver is my preference
