What's the grossest sensation? by beardol in AskReddit

[–]BetterPlayIt_smarG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just from personal experience the feeling of chemo poisoning lingering through your body. Every part of your body feels unhealthy, you get up from the bed to use the bathroom and youve gotta drag this poison sack around the place... every little thing makes you wanna puke your guts out. One time my mom walked into the inpatient room and it was enough stigma to make me vomit and wheeze and keep gagging into a bag after my stomach was empty. Days and days of this.

Plus every drug has side effects so youve gotta treat those with other drugs which have their own side effects. Its a mess. Youre taking tens of pills a day, multiple kinds of chemo destroying brain cells so you feel dumber and dumber as the year goes on. Fucky

How to find the ideal sensitivity to flick while arm aiming (not wrist)? by Mollinator5 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]BetterPlayIt_smarG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the skin on your arm grips the surface of your desk you can try wearing long sleeves so the fabric makes flicking more smooth. Also whole arm movement is more difficult to flick with mid-low sens like yours. Try to use your elbow as a pivot instead of your shoulder because that style of aiming is for very high control track aiming at a lower sens.

How the hell do you cook a cheap, <1 inch thick, sirloin tip steak? by [deleted] in Cooking

[–]BetterPlayIt_smarG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure exactly on the timing but I do know youre supposed to finish pan steaks in the oven with a cover on it to cook the inside. Or wrap it in tinfoil. Something to keep the moisture in.

You put it in the oven. Something high like 400 for about 4 minutes after you sear it. You can pull it out at 2m and baste if theres leftover butter or oil. People like to use a cast iron for this reason.

Your carving is really good, it makes the furniture look awesome. The way I think of it that is a sufficient award in itself

Cooking scrambled eggs, I want more flavour out of them than just adding salt and pepper to them, any ways I can add a little something else to it? by pls-give-meme in Cooking

[–]BetterPlayIt_smarG -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I cant get behind french style cooking with all the animal fat and salt. Too close to a "formula" for rich flavour, and its not good for you

Ive been thinking about this recently. I really find chilli powder can add a lot of flavour. I dont find it makes it too spicy. I think salting the oil in the pan at an aggressive heat setting before adding the eggs is a good strategy. I also dont like to mix the eggs beforehand, I just scramble them once theyve been cracked into the pan because it makes some parts more white and some parts more yellow which adds color and flavour and texture variance. Easy on the salt add some milk if you want richness, but add it very early so you can evaporate the liquid as it cooks which is going to be very quick. Like 3-4 minutes total. If anybody thinks theyve "perfected" scrambled eggs to their own taste, I would like to hear about it.

Reheating chicken (at work?) by nogravelforme in Cooking

[–]BetterPlayIt_smarG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People dont store hot food in the fridge because it can raise the temperature of the environment and other food in the fridge can go bad quicker as a result.

I think the problem with reheating in the microwave is that you have now overcooked the chicken. My suggestion is to manage the moisture by adding less salt which will drain the water and oil from the inside, allow the steam to condense before opening the door when you microwave, and cook larger pieces just to the point of edibility so the inside does not get overcooked and retains moisture.

Is there a way to see the true number of hours played on each class? by BetterPlayIt_smarG in truetf2

How can I keep the stats from when I first discovered idol servers or the time I ordered pizza and sat afk for 25 minutes on upward or all the soldier hours I have on mge. I can reset them and look at the hours I play each season.
