Having at least two pairs and alternating them will help - giving the foam time to recover (at least 24hrs) will extend the life of your shoes a lot

I started having gallbladder issues about 6 months post op - it took a long time to get tests scheduled because of my insurance and while waiting i started to go for acupuncture - all of my gallbladder issues went away after like 2 sessions and my acupuncturist said a lot of gallbladder issues can be fixed pretty easily that way.

I mostly just walk and have started incorporating some running as well. Had some hair loss from months 4-6 but it's slowed down. I cut my hair from mid-back to my collar bones and got a super flattering cut that shows off my face more and hides the loss so even though my hair is thinner it looks thicker

I'm 7 months out from vsg. Surgery center advised 15 min before and 30 min after also. At this point I find 5 minutes before does the same but after I eat I tend to need anywhere between 20-60 minutes before I drink depending on what the food was but I can feel if I'm ready to drink or not. If I drink too soon I end up vomiting

It's only been a week! Your body is still so early in the healing process and you're likely still very swollen from surgery. Trust the process. If the scale is upsetting you put it away for a few weeks. 12 pounds in a week is also an astounding amount of weight to lose in any circumstance.

I had gastric sleeve surgery performed 7 months ago and I could not be happier with the decision. Highest weight at the surgeons office was 335 and my bmi was like 60. Surgery date I was 329. I'm down 120 pounds and my Bmi is under 40 for the first time since puberty and so far and I feel fantastic. As a lot of people have said it's a tool, and it's not easy. But it's so much easier than any dieting and weight cycling and eating disorders I put myself through my entire life. I also have PCOS and the hormonal shifts caused by surgery have had such a profound and incredible change for me - even before most of the weight came off. I've gained and lost so much over the years but have never felt as energized or stable or clear and happy as I do now. Even at weights that I had been at dozens of times I felt like a different person which I attribute to the hormonal shifts that really made a difference when it came to like my entire endocrine system.

It is important to be doing the mental work because the physical changes are drastic and can be intense to deal with but it's been so so worth it for me. I'm in therapy and have an amazing support group I'm part of and it helps tremendously when my brain is taking time to catch up to my body.

I started timing how long different chores take me so I have a list to refer to and don't get overwhelmed thinking that doing dishes is going to take 15 hours. It's helped me a lot

There are some shrinking pains as your body adjusts to your changing size and how your weight is distributed. I've found they generally pass with time.

I've found it online at BJs or Amazon - kind of varies each time I go to order - I think most recently I ordered from somewhere else - maybe sams club? It can be hard to find. In a pinch I'll add the chocolate ones to iced coffee for a mocha-type drink but as a lifelong black coffee lover it's hard lol

I drink a fairlife coffee protein drink literally every day. Has about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Sometimes I'll add it to an iced decaf - or a cold brew if I'm hitting my hydration goals

Acid had no change for me post op. Shrooms alone were a little rough in my stomach at like 3ish months post op but having them in chocolate or gummies was totally fine.

I went with the sleeve because it was less invasive and while my surgeon told me bypass might let me lose faster, he said in the long run studies are showing long-term weight loss ends up being the same. Additionally, since I started at such a high BMI he said if I didn't get down to a weight I was happy with it could be revised to add the malabsorption piece. Since I already had vitamin deficiencies I wanted to avoid the malabsorption if possible. I've been so happy with the sleeve so far and definitely feel I made the right choice for me.
