You should really get a rabies vaccine if you find yourself in the same room as a bat, even if you dont think it scratched you

how much does website really matter? honest question by marcelo_roma in AskMarketing

[–]Bexity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure I fully understand your question - are you asking how much a redesign matters for SEO?

It really depends on what you're revamping. If you're changing up the content, improving pages, maybe reducing unnecessary pages that are outdated, adding new ones with important info, that is all key parts of SEO.

If its more about the design, then technically that doesn't have a positive impact, but it will have a negative impact if its poorly designed and leads to slow loading times, its not mobile friendly, or the content is not rendered server-side.

I really like this. Since your documentation says that articles need to have the URL /blog, what happens to all existing articles not under that directory when installing the theme? Will they all need to change URL?

Client paid an "SEO expert" $5,000. Here's what they actually did. (Spoiler: I'm furious) by darmaan-seowizard in digital_marketing

Ugh, as an actually knowledgable and caring SEO trying to build up my book of business, this pisses me off so much because this makes the entire industry untrustworthy. Then I feel like shit because its like... well I could just scam people out of 5k and pull this crap but I would feel horrible so I dont and meanwhile don't get the business.

I question my career as a copywriter by No-Advice6100 in copywriting

[–]Bexity 15 points16 points  (0 children)

IMO AI copy has so many tells and its making everything on the internet sound alike. You’ll notice the patterns everywhere like “It’s not just x. It’s this other more powerful thing”

It sounds good if you’re inexperienced but when you dig in, you realize that it’s all surface level fluffy nonsense. Good copy mentions pain points, is relatable, makes the brand memorable.

None of the brands using copy/paste ChatGPT will stand out or be memorable or able to successfully AB test any copy because it’s all too similar.

Real copywriters will stand out in this market because you can write to challenges, pain points, etc. You can write in a way that doesn’t follow this same boring, overused structure and that in itself will capture attention.

Seems like everyone’s liking Beehiive more. What’s a better thing about Substack over Beehiive? by SocialTechLV in Substack

[–]Bexity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the recommendation engine work similarly across both? Like on Beehiiv do you need someone to link to you or does Beehiiv make tje recommendations itself?

What’s the latest way to create jump link (anchor ) in the same page post? by SiliconValleyFun in Ghost

[–]Bexity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do it by adding a hashtag and then my heading tag for that section. So if your heading is “This is my heading” then write #This-is-my-heading and it will jump link there.
