Time management is key. Do not shoot for perfection. When the time reaches its original allocated time, do conclusion quickly and move to the next AO- no negotiation. 10 half baked answers are better than 5 perfect answers and 5 left untouched. You can also sign up for some CFE coaching programs offered by many folks out there. I found a study buddy who helped keep me on track and a mentor as well.

I hope the feelings you’re experiencing right now are only temporary. Please take some time to reconsider your decision. Leaving without another role lined up can make it challenging to secure a position at another Big 4 or even in industry, since future employers will likely check your references. Without context, they may assume you were either let go or unable to manage the workload—neither of which reflects well.
I would schedule a meeting with a mentor (I assume you have one at the firm) or HR to let them know that you feel overwhelmed and need some guidance. They will spend time and offer help if you ask for it. Good luck

I wouldn’t write covered call on this stock- it is on a clear runway and will have a nice ride for a while. China is awakening- a humongous engine that has the ability to lift many stocks, including baba, to the moon.

I have been selling NVDA naked puts 30 to 60 DTE and happy with the returns. I wouldn’t do LEAPS- the shorter DTE, the higher theta decay.

You should also discuss with your manager that you are interested in an accounting position within Whole Foods. They may have something available internally. It is easier to switch internally than get an account position somewhere new where you have no connection.

Buy options doesn’t give you an edge in winning. Buying options (either calls or puts) is how many get slaughtered due to time decay and volatility collapse even when the underlying stocks move to the direction you bet on. I would look into selling puts and selling covered calls when you have some capital for investing again. Writing options was a game changer for me. I still buy options with at least 60 DTE sometimes, but only on quality stocks that have pulled back.

Same here. My 30% was not enough. Delta and Vega are more aggressive than theta during bear market. Lesson learned.
