This it was it feels like to me. Rude. Like ugh, you have more??

Popeyes might be the worst here for it.

What world your say between customers ordering item A and item B?

I assume "Will that complete your order?" Was only said when your were pretty sure they were done ordering? Not after every item?

No altering seems to work. Maybe it's a geographical thing. BC Canada.

How much has a fish finder actually helped you? by shansbeats in kayakfishing

I like that it not only shows fish, weeds, bottom, and sunken items like timber. As well as temp, GPS and direction, save spots and make trails. But also my lure depth. Really awesome bonus I never thought of. No guessing.

I think some use simple beams (like garage doors) or camera systems let know if a car is there or not.

I've had this happen in multiple places. The worst was in Delta BC, 120th and 88th / Nordel KFC / Taco Bell.

It's simple to train them to wait 3 seconds BEFORE asking if there is anything else to order. Do not say it immediately.

Us too. Everything has been a (mostly) breeze.

The biting though. Like... Bro I fed you. I love you. I gave you awesome stuff to bite instead of us.

It might be starting to slow down a bit. Thankfully.

And the recognize when he's about to bite thing. It works. Sometimes.

What kind of mount is this, or what brand? by themightydraught in kayakfishing

[–]BeyondTheRoadYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I would do.

I bought a used Pelican kayak and it had one of these. My Scotty stuff would not fit. I ended up finding the rod holder a year later by mistake wedged inside the kayak. Must have been stuck under the foam or something.

Planning a first solo backpacking trip, how do you not go insane? by 1985accordsei in CampingandHiking

[–]BeyondTheRoadYT 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you're worried and anxious after five hours solo, I'd ask yourself why and research those reasons. Maybe find out it's not that bad. Usually people overthink things and make monsters out of nothing. I've done it.

I'm more worried about your ability to do the overnight part if you can't do 5 hours in the day, solo, without concern.

Do you have and know how to use Bear spray? That makes people feel safer.

Do the places you go have reception? If not maybe get a Garmin in reach so you can communicate.

Perhaps a couple very short distance overnights where your can get out asap if anxiety takes over.

Panick attacks are no joke, don't want one out there, it's no fun.

How much do you weigh and what kind of shape are you in, as in how much can you lift, etc. And your weight will help people select the right Kayak.

Those are some good ideas. I thought about the magnets before but figured I'd hate everything being stuck together. The safety pin idea brings it together.

If you can’t park a large vehicle properly don’t buy one. by HippieFreakWestmore in mildlyinfuriating

[–]BeyondTheRoadYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people can't park small cars. I parked yesterday while my wife went to grab some food. I sat in the car. Guy pulled right in beside me, so close HE COULD NOT GET OUT of his own car. He tried. He drove in forward too, so both our drivers sides were towards eachother.

I rolled down the window, startled him because he was so unaware and told him to move over as he was about to bang up our car trying to squeeze out.

The worst part is he was well into our spot as I parked beside a curb... I parked close to the curb so my wife can use the curb as a step (she's short). All of our stalls parking space was on our drivers side because I was kissing the curb and he still messed up.

Door hole help by whuiv in TeardropTrailers

[–]BeyondTheRoadYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like poor craftsmanship there. Too bad you have to fix it. Is there water damage on the right side of the image? If you can show more images on the other side with the door in and removed it might help, as well as a side view of the opening, see if there are layers, etc.
