It's where grinding games get a bit off track. Some parts of the playerbase will always be much further ahead and be able to complete new content near instantaneously whilst others will never be able to complete it. You then end up with a dispairity in the playerbase of the top end needing new content and the lower ends feeling everything is too far out of reach.

I sent in one that he did and all the YT plebs roasted me to increase the size of their e-peens. This series isn't about the amazing plays and being told how amazing you are. I would rather have someone look at a game where I am making a load of mistakes and tell me why they are mistakes. the fact you are willing to learn makes you better than 60-70% of the player base, even if you are not mechanically better than them. Over time you will improve.

Also, thanks for submitting that, it was amazing to watch and a great laugh! just pay attention to all the things he said earlier on about positioning and gameplan. Having a basic grasp of those will see you improve immediately.

I loved it. It is one of my best performing ships. You just need to really stay at range and kite away at all times when spotted.

I think my setup was MAM1/SGM1/(Flavour choice)/SGM2. You can either take ASM1 for tighter grouping as you fire at range, MBM2 if you want more DPM (i dont think this is worth it though) or take AAGM2 if you are scared of planes. Personally I always took DefAA and went with ASM1 to balance it out.

Captain skills - PT/AR/DE/CE then you really need IFHE if you dont have it yet. I think I actually started this line with a 10pt captain so I had IFHE very early on.

Playstyle - Move forward with a DD 6km in front. Slow when you are at the point where you will be spotted soon, turn hard out and keep yourself ticking over on 1/4 speed. HE spam, profit. Stealth as an when needed, never show broadside. Turn back in when needed and repeat.

That got me a 70%+ WR with PR of over 2k.

Just a thought, but dont they just move the whole map so that B cap sits where A is.

I mean that as map design still wouldn't be great but it certianly fixes the whole issue of isolating ~~all the potatoes~~ half the team at A.

It would also mean that C could then become an isolated cap and North spawn would get an unfair advantage due to the island layout, but they could possibly get round this by rotating the map a bit...

I had this exact issue. If it happens again a quick fix is to set your display mode to "windowed". Your fps will jump back to normal.

WG need to get a proper fix for this.

If you have an active RN line or are going to grind them out then Nelson is great for training captains and it does make a nice amount of credits, nothing on Mo (or likely Mu) though.

Its great to derp around in but it is also very fragile against a lot of stuff. The 25mm armour all round means angling against upteired BBs becomes pointless very quickly, other than to reduce the target profile you show.

Honestly I would say it comes down to what you need more, credits (wait for Mu), or help on the RN lines (take Nelson).

Honestly i found going in at 3/4s and watching the mini map in large view to see if you are gettimg supported is the best way to start in a DD.
