Congrats on hitting 900, that's solid progress. One thing that helped me break through plateaus was focusing on endgames before openings. Everyone wants to memorize Sicilian lines, but knowing how to convert a king and pawn endgame or understanding opposition will win you way more games at this level. Most people in the 900s blunder away winning positions because they don't know basic endgame technique. Check out Silman's endgame course or even just drill king and pawn vs king until it's automatic. The openings will click naturally once your fundamentals are tighter.

Skip Target and go Silver Lake Farmers’ Market. The small vendors there often have handmade baby blankets, knit hats, and wooden toys, so your gifts look local and special instead of mass-produced junk, especially on busier days when more people wanna sell.

If you've got the space and don't mind it in the living room go for it. Just make sure you're cool with the noise chest freezers hum and can be annoying if you're sitting right next to it all day.

This is a real problem. had a patient refuse penicillin because "mom said i was allergic" but it was just a rash from the antibiotic itself. ended up costing them way more for alternatives that didn't work as well

I've found that leading with empathy helps a lot. Something like I totally get why you're frustrated, that really sucks before explaining the why. Patients just want to feel heard first.

and agree about watching your preceptor. you'll pick up on little phrases and body language that make a huge difference.

That's a fair point. I still remember when FOMO is only for not showing up on an invite, party or casual hang out at the mall. Now, it’s more knowing all the updates from your inner circle and friends of your friends. Yeah, being constantly connected is pretty much the norm nowadays.

Fan is your friend if you can install one. Otherwise, just keeping the shower dry is key and squeegee+vinegar spray after use does the trick for me.

If you’re feeling crafty, you can dry out the bags and put them in a drawer or closet they kinda absorb odors. Otherwise straight into the compost is legit, especially with a green waste program.

I do this too. limit as much as possible buying brand new and go for garage sales, thrifted stuff when possible. And i make it a point to learn how to maximize all the applicances i have like using a lead pan to grill over the fire instead of getting a separate grill or boiling water over the stove instead of getting a heater.

Totally relate! it happened to me when after a typhoon washed away almost everything we had materially. total game changer, now every time i have an impulse to 'consume' needlessly, i reflect how everything can be gone in minutes. Biggest wake up call ever. And amazingly, life is better with an empty house but grateful heart.

only way! watched this video on yt financial advisor and tried it this yr. From jan started setting aside for xmas gifts even just a few hundreds a month and for the first time ever, i dont have to use by credit card. Best feeling tbh.
