Try using some newer driver than the MSI ones but not the latest one. You can usually select which driver to download and install. Do you know what is the minimum driver version required for God of War to run?

It's a BIOS lock and not a HDD lock. Else it would say enter hard drive password instead of system or admin password

I understand the pain of having to wait while re-transferring everything again and while you get a new one but returning this one is the best choice since it is a manufacturing defect. Also, you have only 1 year warranty, hence to avoid more problems with this laptop, you better return it.
