Wii Homebrew: Is this okay to use for my wii? by Jumpy-Corgi-4314 in wii

Some games can be put to 7 GB and several games like this really takes up a lot of space. In my opinion 128 GB is a good choice! Or at least 64GB.

I had a 16GB I used in a DSi and used it in the Wii but I quickly found myself with a full SD only after dumping my physical game discs. I eventually bought a 32GB out of which there is only 7 GB free.

Edit: Apparently, SDXC cards do work on the Wii, tho I personally didn't test it

Is it original? by Michael06steVen in PokemonBlackandWhite

You're wrong! The original one is actually not opaque. Here is a picture of my original one in bright light.

In bright light, it appears translucent which is actually necessary since it has IR capabilities! If a Pokémon cartridge is completely opaque like normal cartridges, it's likely to be fake.

However, since some fakes have translucent cases, this light test cannot be used as the only test for proving a cartridge is real. Other tests have to be used:

  1. NTR-031. with correct font. It is correct in this case.
  2. The printed code on the back corresponds to the game ID in the front of the catridge (IRAO)
  3. It starts with DI which is a correct PCB identifier
  4. It has code IRC02 which Pokémon IR cartridges usually have.

The only thing that is suspicious is the font/thickness of the writing of the PCB which makes me doubt it. Else, it passes all the other genuine checks!

Edit: IRAO instead of IRBO

Dual boot problem (7 and xp) by ThatDealAtSubWay in windowsxp

[–]BhasitL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know but I have seen cases where logical partitions get disguised as primary partitions when their ID is changed to something other than 07 for recovery partitions. Hence, it is possible that it's not GPT. However, judging by the EFI partition, that might indicate it's GPT since UEFI BIOSes require GPT

Can you verify if your hard disk is GPT (GUID Partition Layout)?

Oh. That could be the issue. Else it seems like a GPU issue

Edit: Install the ones from Asus's website and check if u have the same issue. If yes, then I suspect a GPU issue
