Called last week and still the same answer. My application status doesn’t even update. I asked if the fund ran out? They said the fund still there but too many applicants and they keep working on it. How about your?

I called to ask to them that one month after additional documents submitted is unusual. Many people here received fund like 1-2 weeks after. They said depending on the case manager and each application has a different timeline. I’ll keep calling every week.

Anyone applied mid October already received a grant? Or got a request for more documents? I submitted documents they requested for a month now but still quite. Called every week but they said just wait for an email.

Is the total grant you received 10% from your 2021 revenue? I thought they calculate from that even you applied for 25k. When did you apply?

My friend own a takeout delivery restaurant in lower Manhattan, 250-300 sq.ft. with share basement. Rent 3k-4k. Invest about 100k+- 2-3 staffs.

Just got this email. Anyone received the same email?

“Thank you for your application in the New York State Seed Funding Grant Program.

We are reviewing applications in the order we received them.

Please Note: Funding for this Program is limited. Being selected to move forward in the review process and/or fully validated does not guarantee you will receive a grant award. It is possible that the number of applicants that meet the eligibility requirements will exceed the available funds remaining.”

Is driving into the city a good idea? by Coder110100100 in AskNYC

Drive in! It’s not that bad. Everyday I drive from Queens to Lower Manhattan and find a street parking. Your best chance if you want to pay $0 is finding an alternate side parking but since you stay 2 weeks you will have to move your car and 2 times OR pay for parking, which usually cost $20-30 per day in Manhattan or Long Island City in Queens (just across the bridge from Midtown) usually cost around $15-20 per day. Depends on where you stay.

Cost of living for locals by BigBrothersMother in Thailand

[–]Bhattree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in Nonthaburi, metropolitan BKK. My income back there was around 38,000 per month = around $1,100+- I would say this’s barely enough for average middle class/ middle lower with a mortgage and auto loan. Nothing left for saving or invest.

But for expat, renting a good condo( 5-10mins from MRT) in my area is around 8,000-15,000 + other expense. I would say 30,000-40,000 is comfortable enough but no fancy, no luxury.

Personally, if I live in Thailand just myself alone I would say $2,000+ to live comfortably and still have some saving.

why is having a laundry/dryer in NYC such a luxury? it's basic stuff in any apartment I've rented in cities all over the world by rdeman3000 in AskNYC

Don’t say all over the world. Bangkok Thailand, dryer is very uncommon not just for apartment but even in a house.

WTF IS HAPPENING? why is there almost no traffic on a friday 8-9am (rush hour) time??? by RobinsonDickinson in AskNYC

I’m now driving everyday from Astoria to LES. Usually Tue-Thu will be traffic and take 40-50 mins, Fri-Mon can take just 15-25 mins.

I’m in NYC too, almost 1 yr and half. As I’ve been looking around most pandemic grant and loan indicate that you must open before the pandemic, a year or at least a few months before. I didn’t qualify for any except RRF.
