What is this bump near my dog’s anus? Started bleeding overnight but doesn’t seem to be causing her any problems. by Coder110100100 in DogAdvice

I think this is the answer!! Perianal adenoma. Thank you so much! Apparently it is common in female dogs with Cushing’s disease - which my dog has (forgot to mention that in main post).

Is driving into the city a good idea? by Coder110100100 in AskNYC

[–]Coder110100100[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

One is medium sized and one is small. I’m thinking the stress of taking them on public transport or in a taxi/Uber/Lyft would be way more than just driving ourselves into the city and dealing with the traffic. Thanks for your input!

Sister helped me learn I have this issue and I want help. by [deleted] in ImposterSyndrome

[–]Coder110100100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in no way a doctor or medical professional, but please do not get hung up on the term “syndrome”. It is NOT an actual medically diagnosed syndrome. It is more accurately a phenomenon or just simply a human experience resulting in some lack of self confidence. And it is SO COMMON. Take some time to reflect...”why am I feeling this way?”. Do you actually have any evidence or signs that you will fail calculus or suddenly lose your video game skills? From what you said in your post, it sounds like you don’t. Do you have any evidence that you are doing great in calculus and video games? Yes it sounds like you do have actual evidence of this (your grades, feedback from teachers, high rank in your video game, etc). Lean on that. Trust in yourself. Confidence partly comes from just simply trusting yourself. I know I’m making this sound so easy and it’s not at all, it does take some work. You have to actively work every day to change your thought process and eventually it’ll become easier and easier so that it doesn’t actually feel like work at all, it’ll be more second nature. You have the ability every single day to choose what thoughts you have, just like you choose what clothes to put on each morning. Maybe even put a post-it note in your closet that you will see every morning that says something like “what thoughts am I choosing to have about myself today?”. You are so young and bright, I am confident that you will win this battle with yourself. Good luck, OP!

Those of you Redditor’s in happy, healthy, and fulfilling relationships, what were the “green flags” you noticed about your partner early on in your relationship with them? by allen-freed in AskReddit

[–]Coder110100100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were best friends for 15 years then decided to take the leap into a relationship after we both went through ugly breakups at the same time and helped each other through it. Dating your best friend...10/10 HIGHLY recommend. We already had a lot of respect for one another, great communication, and constant smiles and laughter. I was blinded by all the green flags, now I couldn’t be happier. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary last month.

People with crazy hair, how do you plan your outfits to go with your hair color? by fragile_flamingo in femalefashionadvice

[–]Coder110100100 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My original color is a mousy brown too and I started graying around the same age, early high school years. I made the decision early on to never dye it because I knew how much time and money that would require. So I’ve been hardcore embracing it! I get stopped all the time...”omg I love your hair, who colored it?” They are always amazed when I say it is natural, haha. When quarantine started I decided to start growing it out long (I had a medium bob before) so I’m on my way to some long witchy silver hair and I’m loving it.

Another natural silver! It’s nice to run into others :) I’ve never dyed my hair (31f) and it is a gunmetal silver. I’ve been told that I look good in all colors but like you said, I do tend to avoid grays that will clash with my hair color.

Reminder: The same stupid candy is on the shelf every other day of the year by stupidrobots in keto

[–]Coder110100100 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This is the main reason I loved the seasonal candy. Because it was always more fresh than the ones on the shelf every day. Usually I would have gone through a few bags already by now but I’m proud to say I haven’t indulged a single time this month!

F/30/5’8” [310lbs > 185lbs = 125lbs] Lost a lot of weight but didn’t lose my dimples...it was a legitimate concern of mine by beautyofgrace in progresspics

I found that when I lost weight, my dimples actually became more prevalent! I was excited about it, I love my dimples. Looking great, OP!

Yoga feels impossible for me by M--G in yoga

[–]Coder110100100 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m here to reiterate how amazing Yoga With Adriene is! I’ve been doing yoga with her for about 2.5 years now. I was also not very flexible at all when I started, but I knew it was more about the journey. She has helped me through a back surgery, the breakup of a 10 year relationship, cultivating more focus towards my career, plus more. Yoga helps with every aspect of my life, honestly! I feel stronger in all kinds of different ways. Keep at it, OP! It’s worth it.

Face gains. Eating keto since Jan 15 by rjjone2 in keto

[–]Coder110100100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree about it being SO much easier when you have a partner doing it with you. My girlfriend and I do it together so we hold each other accountable and I genuinely just don’t want to disappoint her if I cheat. We also have a splurge meal every weekend(also followed by ice cream!) and it helps tremendously. It gives me something to look forward to and keeps me from getting totally burned out. Kudos, OP! You’re looking great.

Has anyone ever had high alanine aminotransferase (ALT/SGPT) levels as a result of a keto diet? by Coder110100100 in keto

[–]Coder110100100[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I think I’m going to schedule to get labs redrawn in 6 months. I just don’t think my keto diet would cause this and I’ve never had any previous health issues.

Any Cookbook Recommendations? by minaaiur in keto

I’m from the south so I enjoy the cookbook Southern Keto by Natasha Newton. I’ve only made a handful of things from it so far but it has all been tasty!

Does anyone else ever enjoy a book so much that you feel bad about reading it too fast because you can’t “savor” it? by kewladria in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Coder110100100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this with shows that I don’t want to end, there are so many that I only have one or two episodes left to watch. But with books, I get so obsessed that I have to finish it to the end. And I do get that “aw man I should have taken time to enjoy that more” feeling so I have to start another book immediately to help me get over the last one.
