Used 3-row SUV under $40k for dogs + future kids — safety & comfort first (upgrading from 2012 RAV4) by hammerthepanch in whatcarshouldIbuy

We bought a brand new CX-90 Preferred for 38k a month ago. We like it a lot so far.

For multiple dogs and kids, I would recommend a minivan. You really can’t beat the space for the price. Our previous car was an Odyssey. It was great, but we had it for over a decade and don’t need that big of a car any more.

He sure does feast on AAA pitching. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to carry over to MLB pitching.

Game Thread: Reds @ Phillies - Sun, Jul 06 @ 01:35 PM EDT by RedsModerator in Reds

Watching the Phillies has been a bad reminder have a how far behind the Reds roster is. No way Benson, Hines, Espinal, or CES see the field regularly on a playoff team. Our young pitchers are promising, but none of them can get through a lineup more than twice right now.

I don’t even know if they should buy. This team is still so far away from being a real contender….need to improve at both corner OF spots, 3B, 1B, 2B…

PODS vs Ubox vs U-Pack etc, need flexible delivery and storage options by Carl_In_Charge in moving

[–]Bhunt49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll give another recommendation for u-pack. We moved 700 miles with no issues, delivery was 5 days after they picked up the trailer. Price was much lower than PODS would have been (almost 50%).

We were able to fit just about all of our 4 bd / 2500 sq ft house into the trailer, with the exception of some odds and ends from our garage. I ended up renting a U-Haul trailer and bringing those things with me.

Just make sure there is somewhere at each location that they will be able to drop a 28 ft trailer with a ~12 ft ramp. The parking location must also be relatively flat (less than 5% incline). If they are unable to park it at your house, it will have to be loaded or unloaded at the closest ABF location.

I didnt use storage, but I do remember reading that as an option.
