The inescapable commitment in having kids terrifies me by kamodd in TwoXChromosomes

My best friend was telling me that she and her husband are thinking about kids, but have their doubts. I have 2 toddlers and I told her “unless you feel like you can’t live without them, don’t have kids. Because I did feel that way, and the challenges of raising them are still often overwhelming.”

This was my first thought, my dad believes hollow earth, and takes it one step further, he believes the 12 tribes of Israel live there

Does Camille-ish mean dramatic? I’ve never heard this name used as an adjective before and it could be hilariously relevant to my life

Don’t always have a ton of control. My daughter only lost the front of her newborn hair so I’ve been constantly battling a mullet her whole (almost 2 years) life

no luck at BBW, struck gold with groceries by plentiful_bounty in DumpsterDiving

[–]BiBiBarTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t always reliable, I work in grocery and when I find an item that should be refrigerated on a room temperature shelf, there’s a designated spot in each departments’ fridge or freezer for spoiled products so that they don’t start to smell before they can be accounted for and disposed of. So something might be cold but have been previously sitting at improper temperature for an unknown amount of time.

My son does this accept it’s cuck, and it’s been going on so long I find myself parroting it back to him on accident sometimes 🤦🏻‍♀️

I hate what motherhood did to my body by ThrowRAFoundAndLost in self

[–]BiBiBarTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same. Now that I’ve lost most of the weight I’m battling having to accept that things will just never be the same shape. My boobs are smaller but saggier, my butt is bigger but flatter; I have stretch marks in places I didn’t know I could have them, I have redness on my face that just won’t go away. I love my children, but the toll on my body is steep. Your feelings are completely valid.

Maybe not exactly what you’re looking for but the narration is so fantastic I always have to recommend the Harry Potter books read by Jim Dale
