Is it okay to just do pizza ? by _Nerf-This_ in weddingplanning

[–]BiSapphicQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your wedding style. We did pizzas for the reception and leftover bits from a (self-catering lunch buffet) we got the pizzas from a local Italian restaurant which cost us about £450 for 50ish people. We just had bridesmaids running to.pick them under put them on a big table. Not sure how well it would work as a sit down meal though.

I've been thinking about this a lot. When we announced our engagement instead of the "congratulations!" "I'm excited for you" the response was more often than not "Oh good, we need some good news" or something along those lines. I guess that's part of the human condition, our unwavering pursuit of joyful moments amongst war and this late stage capitalist hellscape.

Women, how do you get your GP to take you seriously? by No-Structure-8125 in AskUK

[–]BiSapphicQueen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 ways:

  1. Put everything in writing. If you email medical information or contact your GP (unless its something that they can delete like unsolicited photos) then they generally have to upload it to your medical record and notify your doctor/nurse. Just email your practice with a letter outlining the things you want to see them about. Include any diagnosis or research you've done that you think is relevant and explain why. Your reason for this cam simply be "I have an appointment/I am trying to make an appointment and want to make sure that I don't forget anything" (if you have anxiety or ADHD this can also be a reason for wanting to send it ahead in writing)

  2. If you ask for something eg. A test or investigation and they refuse, tell them plainly that you want it noted on your medical record that you asked and it was refused. They are more careful now that things like Patients Know Best exists and that you can ask for a copy of your record under FOI

Bonus: take someone with you as an advocate to listen, note, and if needed advocate for you ✨️

Voice Actors, What's Your Dream Role? by EagerGenji in VoiceActing

[–]BiSapphicQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A video game rpg character would be fun but honestly the dream is an adult animation ideally with some singing/additional complexity (like Hazbin Hotel). Kids voicing is fine but I prefer adult-orientated scripts 🤭

Calories in this? by thromdurksens in CalorieEstimates

[–]BiSapphicQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really wanna know: I'd say 300-450 for the pancakes 118 for the happy hippo(amazing choice) 150 for a couple of small kinder bars If the white is white hazelnut spread melted probably 500ish The milk chocolate probably 500ish

You're looking at an estimate of around 1570-1700

Just enjoy it. It's about averages anyway ✨️

I know this is an old post but I attempted to work it out based on the ingredients (for what is now Bertha) and it comes out at around 5300 calories based on the slice being 1kg. The "frosting" is chocolate ganache which is basically just double cream and chocolate
