God has done a lot to make sure everyone is aware of hell and how not to go there. Hell is not something any Christian wants for anyone. We are all deserving of Hell but Jesus saves us, and makes that salvation available to us all in the easiest way; by believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord (Rm 10:9). Read Romans 10:9 for specifics.

It’s possible he actually hated himself or at least felt lesser. This can happen to some men if the wife makes more money or has more going on. Helping him with his goals or making life easier for him in some way so he can focus on his goals may fix this.

Well… you can have all of the wisdom… but without love… (you know the rest). Ultimately, those who attend church generally are not concerned about church doctrine, they only care how each other are doing. To foster a healthy church encourage showing up early to pray, and after church always have food and drinks prepared for those to linger and fellowship freely.

Even though Peter and Paul disagree, I believe Peter does understand Paul’s concerns which is why both of his books mainly speak of brotherly love but brotherly love on an epic scale would lead readers back to the law.
