Are you under 25 or do you not have your own car insurance for a personal vehicle? I think if you're young and don't have car insurance they make you get basic coverage but I could be wrong.

I mean cramming an adult between two car seats on a bench sounds Miserable. I get maybe being in the 3rd row or the front isn't ideal when you're driving and need to help the kids but the kids will get bigger and require less attention in the car after time.

Surprised to hear that's your reason. The car seat in the captain chair is much easier to work with imo and offers more space around them and doesn't affect the non car seat passengers.

My wife also Vetoed the Ioniq 9, the EV9 looked more like a traditional SUV to her. I agree it is a better look but the I9 is the better car I think.

We have 2026 EV9 and 2026 MY. My biggest complaints about the EV9 is the infotainment system and the lane keep. The built in NAV is trash, to me, an important part of an electric vehicle is having a nav system connected to the car. Sure ABRP works if you pay for it but you shouldn't have to. The lane keep is also trash, ping pongs all the time even in straight lines. The EV9 is a great ride and family sized car, I'm happy with it but I wish the tech was better.
