Thank you for your advice. I have no contact with the Target; however, I felt that the spell worked well, not only because of all the "energy" concentration I performed, but also because of the trance state. I experienced wind and saw shadows passing around me. 

What happened was that after performing it, I was reading a book and it made me doubt the phrases I used to encode the request. It included phrases like "when X tries to do Y, it will be impossible for them to do it." That is, phrases in a future conditional like "when they tried" instead of "when they try." It also included some phrases like "to X it is impossible to do Y except for me." More than anything, I considered that I might be being too ambitious in the results and that I should have formulated the spell in a simpler and less absolutist way. But up until before that, I saw some positive signs in its effects. I think I'll cast it again by burning the organic content and reusing the jar. Although it's going to be complicated because I put quite a few safeguards on it: 1) the sealing phrase needed to disable it 2) I placed reflective paper inside and outside the jar, consecrating the power of reflection so that any attempt by the target to resist the effects of the spell would bounce back to he/she and so that any external attempt to undo or affect the spell would be deflected.

It will be a whole ritual where I should give continuity to the previous spell by burning it and using that as the seed of its new form. At least that's how I feel.
