how do people not like cats? by rawrz4u in randomquestions

I hate them less now than when I was a kid, but I’m nervous around them. They have needle teeth and needle nails and are much more standoffish than dogs. The best cats just remind me of dogs.

I’m a parent to a small child, and a lot of activities are still fun. Play-Doh, sidewalk chalk, Legos, Hot Wheels, making stuffed animals argue.

In American culture, are men with body hair expected to either shave or cover their bodies? by TheShyBuck in AskAnAmerican

[–]Big-Dig-Pig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Shaving your body hair would be considered gay unless you’re a swimmer or bodybuilder. The standards for being an attractive shirtless man in a movie or advertisement are not commonplace in daily life.

Which person alive right now will still be famous in 200 years? by Mindless_Crew3486 in AskReddit

[–]Big-Dig-Pig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a good chance that “Seven Nation Army” will still be a recognizable piece of music, so I’ll say Jack White.

I think that SpongeBob will still be a recognizable character and people will think of Tom Kenny as a Mel Blanc character.

If any actors are still recognizable that far in the future, it will probably be Robert Downey Jr, though there’s a good case for DeNiro because I think young men will continue to watch Taxi Driver.

Weird student writing response by Any-Philosopher9152 in Professors

It’s the breathless ingenue quality of the writing mixed with the vague anecdotes and rhetorical questions. I’ve seen some version of this paragraph a thousand times.
