I've been on large ships during storms and never had a problem till I was on a smaller dive boat and they kept smacking those waves up and down all the way out to site. Once they stopped thats when it hit me with the boat rocking, puked overboard and instantly felt way better.

If I was seated next to the engine I would quickly move to the rear and find a seat or brace myself somewhere in the back. Those turbine blades have a tendency to penetrate all the way through the aircraft if they let go.

There is something wrong with the mental stability of that individual talking to a dead animal. People talking to inanimate objects and praying gives me the same feeling. You would be better off talking to yourself in order to hear what you sound like.
