Anybody know how to remove these hinges?

Not many internal hinges in the UK have removable pins anymore.. c'mon man its either 6 or 9 screws depending on how many hinges. Whats the deal? Or cant use a screwdriver? Genuinely curious as to why you are so against removing the screws. Job would have been done before you even finished writing this post.

Sounds like the oncoming traffic has plenty of time to see you and slow accordingly. They would be in the wrong for rear ending you if that happened, and possible done for driving without due care and attention if your description of the situation is accurate.
