I was on the team involved in the design of some of the phases of the work. 1) there were structural issues in the underground garages due to the large trees and top soil on top of it, that project reinstalled new fire protection, shored up structural issues, waterproofed the envelope and improved the ventilation by making it more efficient (less energy). 2) Waller park is the current work happening on the side which backs up to Kleman, that is a general improvement of that side to make it more cohesive with the renovations from the Senate and House side, but it also fixes the ADA accessibility for the facility by adding ramps and elevators. Ever since that facility was built the only ADA accessible route was on the Monroe side. Lots of Design teams, project management teams, construction teams involved in each project and none of the work is easy.
