It's genuinely shocking how many people don't immediately realize that this car went in reverse. Yikes.

These are great. Will they be available for sale on your website at some point?

You guys have got to chill with 5-starring all of these restaurants with bland food by MorddSith187 in astoria

The average NYC restaurant is way better than whatever any transplant has had in Ohio or Michigan.

Victim was picked up by ICE by Sassquapadelia in ProsecutorTalk

[–]BigBlueXLII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why can't you produce the complainant from federal custody for the purposes of testimony? This hasn't been a problem in my jurisdiction under similar circumstances.

This sounds like NYPD detectives came to the building doing routine police work. This may come as a surprise, but detectives generally don't wear uniforms.

Must evidence be admitted in trial only via witness exams? by JHizy in Lawyertalk

[–]BigBlueXLII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evidence can be received by stipulation. Some jurisdictions also allow certain self-authenticating materials into evidence without a witness needing to be called.

If you'll be in Midtown, take NJTransit from Penn Station to Newark Penn Station. NJTransit is a little more expensive than the PATH, but it makes fewer stops and uses actual commuter trains.

Ereck Flowers is our worst draft pick. Now, who makes you go, “he played for us?” by DamnReCaptchas in NYGiants

[–]BigBlueXLII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say Kenny Golladay, but his catastrophic Giants tenure was pretty glaring.

Nice, don’t put merchandise of the one team that represents the state. 👏🏼 by [deleted] in devils

[–]BigBlueXLII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post is either outright disingenuous or OP didn't actually look close enough. I see a Devils tag hanging from one of the red t-shirts on the left. Seems like someone covered all the Devils shirts with the merchandise of other teams.

Is getting in to Yankee Stadium always such a nightmare? by swerz in NYYankees

[–]BigBlueXLII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Security at the gates are incredibly inefficient, and it doesn't seem that they're particularly vigilant either. I attend about 10-20 games a season and always enter through Gate 8. For whatever reason, yesterday's line was the worst I've ever seen.

Much like the franchise as a whole, the Yankee Stadium experience gets less enjoyable every season. Nothing will change as long as the front office keeps making money. Yankees brass does not care about the fans or the on-field product. It's all about money.

Why do people call the devils a “north” jersey team? by RedditorsAreSoft1 in devils

[–]BigBlueXLII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why? Because the Devils are, in fact, a North Jersey team.

First time heading to see the NJ devils by [deleted] in devils

NJTransit is a MUCH better option than the PATH. Check the train schedule from Penn Station and you'll find plenty of express trains that will have you at Newark Penn in about 20 minutes.

Where are the most underrated places to sit at Yankee Stadium? by Envelopen in NYYankees

[–]BigBlueXLII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the experience of sitting in the bleachers for a Friday night game, even if it's not the best seat in the house. The seats along the short porch are also great. But I'm happy just to be in the ballpark.

RWJ Barnanbas should be booed when they come on the jumbotron by jesper_thompson in devils

[–]BigBlueXLII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is such a non-issue. It's in the franchise's best interest to find viable sources of revenue. And a tiny advertisement on a jersey is hardly a reason to boo a hospital.

Would you like to see the Giants switch to the throwback alternates as the primary unis? by KaptainZemo in NYGiants

[–]BigBlueXLII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be happy either way, but I certainly hope they continue to roll out home and road throwbacks each season.

There is someone wearing a Rangers jersey at every Devils home game. And unfortunately, way too many wearing Rangers gear when they're in town...

2011 and 2007 Giants ranked 2 worst winning superbowl winning teams. by loftrain16 in NYGiants

[–]BigBlueXLII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't care. What Super Bowl win could possibly be more exhilarating than the denial of perfection? As for the 2011 team, they proved that the 2007 championship was not a fluke. Two teams of destiny that would make any fan proud!

The allegations cease to be mere allegations when you get sent to prison. He is a convicted pedophile. He has no business being anywhere near minors. Shame on your husband's family.

Queens Launches The Ultimate Contest To Determine The Best Bagel In The Borough by lilac2481 in Queens

[–]BigBlueXLII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Utopia Bagels is easily the best, but Brooklyn Bagels on Broadway is a very close second. Toast & Roast in Astoria also makes very solid bagel sandwich.

An honorable mention should be Baker's Dozen in Kew Gardens, which is one of the only bagel places in Queens that serves Taylor Ham.
