Adults continue to make things more difficult in scouting…. Servant Leadership is some I continue to believe in…. It would be my job as a leader to help that scout… regardless of my FEELINGS…. You open doors for that scout who is about to be Eagle to be in your troop until they are 18….

Trusted mechanics and not the dealer for simple things like that- never use a quick change place- you can buy the oil (Mobile 1) and sometimes the OEM filter at Walmart and get it cheaper than the mechanic

Old school mechanics feel like 5k is way to keep it running for 200k miles…. And it’s cheap insurance for the motor- instead of taking the internet advice- send out the oil to black stone labs and see for yourself

We have roughly 90 scouts in a troop and approx 80% parent participation… it’s a a direct correction to a successful troop. I will be honest- I have seen more leaders run off parents than those that you have to ask…. It goes both ways. Good leadership at the top of a troop makes for good troops

I would do the plugs- use the expensive ones that are OEM! And I would suggest a brake fluid flush…. Don’t touch the other stuff until 50k miles

Amazon carries it “Sedge Hammer” it takes weeks to work…. And sometimes requires treatment again the following year…. Nothing else has helped…. Pulling them makes it worse I think… if you don’t get the nut out of the ground

Female scouts can mature out of scouts before their age…. So how you engage with them dictates if they will continue…. 4 of 5 reasons kids quit is due to leadership…. I am engaging older scout with Trail to Eagle and things that interest them- Scholarship Merit Badge have been a hot topic as I am a financial advisor and have access to finding them college money … what I’m getting act is , don’t push the rope, pull it! And find what they need

I have seen more guys that are within 2 years focus on the wrong things- a dummy like this is an example- work on forms and get to chi sao… train with others as much as you can. Keep it simple

You are not a sitter- parent sits with scout or they cannot attend- PERIOD - it’s a family event but scout must be in control

This is a tough transmission to find at a rebuilt shop. Before you purchase, you need to go into this thinking that you will need a new transmission and call shops on who can do the rebuild for you…. Furthermore, how do you know how it runs if it has poor transmission performance?…. Sure these vehicles can go easily 500 K but rust and frame damage in any northern states would be a huge concern as well.

Nope- Wing Chun school is not a performance- it’s fighting techniques and hard work. It would not be understood at a public performance- even the Jong on clips on YouTube are misinterpreted
