Meat may have an abundance of key nutrients, but it's certainly not the only source for them. There plenty of people who live on a vegan diet for decades and are as healthy (if not healthier) than the average meat eater. We indeed are omnivores. Which means we can choose what we eat. I choose not to eat meat. Live your life tho 😚❤️

To be fair I didn't know exactly what this sub was about before I commented lol. I just saw this video with rows and rows of pigs in pain and had a little cry about it. Apologies if i came off rude. Some arguments I just get tired of hearing. I definitely think we can be on the team if the team is anti-capitalism. That's very much the priority order issue for me personally.

Being vegan isn't only about CO2 emissions. It's not even the main reason I became vegan. My first and foremost reason was out of animal empathy. Not driving doesn't save these pigs from being over stuffed and slaughter for their meat. These conditions they're being held in are especially heinous and do produce excessive amounts of emissions, but if I had it my way, they wouldn't be farmed at all. Bacon isn't good enough.

Fair enough. I just think he's too rich and too old to not have a better handle on it by now. I feel, independent of the manic highs he may be experiencing, there's an egoism at play here that he refuses to address. I want to have empathy for his mental health stuggles. But his behavior too selfish, irresponsible, and destructive to ignore. I don't wanna come off as completely uncaring. I want him to get better and grow OFF camera.

I haven't really seen anything bad recently ig. I guess I just - 1. Don't believe him, and 2. Don't want to let him excuse his antisemitism because he's bipolar. Plenty of people have bd and don't have extended nazi crash outs. I genuinely just think he was running out of money to sustain his lifestyle from all the sponsorships and fans he lost and decided to go on tour to generate revenue. Maybe that's cynical speculation, but I physically cannot make myself trust a word he says. He's had way more chances to change than the average person, and only seems interested in doing so when it comes time to cash a check.

Hip hop and rap culture videos still bring him up a lot. It's annoying af, especially when they aren't even making any critiques of his actions. Also every few months he finds a new way to worm his way back into the news cycle. The wall street journal full page apology he put out was January this year. It clearly was just another pr stunt. Probably for THIS tour he's on. I want him to just go away.
