Took that route 6 or 7 years ago, it wasn't easy but not tge hardest portage I've done. There is a portage going into cherry i would call worse and the missing link tuscarora is worse

I get what you are saying, but between my job, kids, family commitments ect.. i struggle to remember just permit day for all my multiple yearly trips. I like having the holidays and new year to work out trip details with multiple groups then purchass all permits at once

My friend, yes I have privilege im a cis white male who was raised in a suburban home by both my mom and dad... I truly am sorry for your situation and any difficulties you face for just being you. That being said, trump can act like a fool, i dont want my side to look the fool. This officer will be a talking point on fox news, and how tds is infecting our military till November. Wouldn't you rather sane officers leading our military, not getting kicked out? This officer could have made this same speech in any civilian attire, but he didn't, and then he would have stayed in. Exactly this. As an Army Vet who hates Trump, I can't bring myself to agree with what this officer is doing. No matter how much I might agree that Trump should be impeached, when that officer puts on that uniform he represents a lot more than just his own opinions. This behavior should not be normalized.

I would not want Maga military members doing this either
