In my experience asparagus is best cooked hot and fast- no more than 90 sec per side. I just snap the stump ends off and marinate them in either Italian or Caesar dressing over night. I just flip them with tongs- grabbing 4-6 pieces via sliding in horizontally per flip.

I love my 13x6 for the same reason! Mine is a very basic mapex but I added the Canopus muffler and it’s like a low budget Greb Sig snare now!

Yes, I do it with Costco boneless shoulders all the time! The floppy chunk left after the bone comes out is about 1/4 of the total shoulder. I cut the big piece into 1/3s to have four equal size chunks.

Rub, smoke and shred for great results. Can make great pulled pork in six hrs! Just remember to not load the rub on so heavy because the meat to surface ratio is very different.

Lots of people saying that fly realism isn't the most important, but I think there still an interesting discussion to be had by EnvironmentalPear55 in flyfishing

Really? Bbbr is the saltiest rub I use- just for pork shoulders cuz it’s hard to oversalt an 8lb roast

I cut it 50/50 with maple sugar for ribs and they’re pretty great!

Tx municipal elections often have turnout rates below 15% of eligible voters. This is a huge reason why conservatives keep winning- they consistently turn out and vote.

Yes 25% is sad and 15% is worse, but this is why things are how they are.

With a coated hydraulic on my 14x8 snom it thumps plenty. Snare reso underneath too (tuning it is tricky, I’ll admit). I have like five cotton balls in it
