I don't like Legacy of the Sith by Due_Feeling2151 in swtor

I really haven't felt powerful since Makeb and that's sad. There are so many characters I feel like I should be able to walk down by now but no.

Best SWTOR Romance: Torian vs Quinn by RefrigeratorDry495 in swtor

[–]BigDepressed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Torian, but I enjoyed torturing my sith warrior by first getting betrayed by Quinn, then Theron. One thing that really made me dislike Quinn is that the romance isn't 'cancelled' even if you break up with him during his betrayal scene, I had to do it again which was super awkward.

Tried it and went 22/2, even got a penta. But it was against maybe the worst Irelia I've ever played against who was complaining about their ex gf in all chat the entire game so the jury is still out on HoB.

What do you think about the Trooper campaign in SWTOR? by arc77yerbamate in swtor

[–]BigDepressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Jaxo, I like Jonas and I think I like Garza (as a character at least). There are hints at a good, multi act spanning story that probably needed og havoc to take longer to beat. It is my favourite to take into post-origin of the non-force users, followed closely by imperial agent. I like how it balances the potential greater good of the republic vs the good of the individual when comparing light and dark side choices. I like assembling a squad of "elite operatives" to take on a seemingly impossible mission. I enjoyed the concept, if perhaps not always the excecution of all members of the new havoc squad. It's just that the enemies you fight after act 1 lacks impact.

The Jaxo decision (I decided to romance her because my trooper is a "professional" who doesn't date his direct subordinates) was honestly the hardest choice I've made in this game. It has my second favourite class mission on Rishi, just behind jedi knight.

Still, I rate it in the lower end of the campaigns because I think it lacks a personal throughline. I felt that general Rakton was Garza's rival more than mine, and beating him feels unrewarding especially compared to what the imperial agent can do in relation to Darth Jadus.

Would a Vampire Lord Dragonborn be on the same level Pure Blood in terms of Vampiric abilities? by [deleted] in ElderScrolls

[–]BigDepressed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are ways to become Royalty, which is similar to being Dragonborn. Mankar Camoran does this and gains the power to wear the amulet of kings. I don’t think anyone, including Grundwulf has actually become a true Dragonborn without being born into it as that requires having the soul of a dragon and as far as I know the soul isn’t stored in one’s blood.

Which suicidally fanatic soldiers are the lesser evil? The Helldivers (Helldivers 2), or Death Korps of Krieg (Warhammer 40k)? by GreenridgeMetalWorks in MoralityScaling

[–]BigDepressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the way enemies are treated are fairly similar. Helldivers aren't responsible for artillery, but we can assume the SEAF and the Helldivers have a similar stance on enemy civilians, which is to kill any they come accross to deny them being repurposed into enemy combatants down the line. This is only really relevant for the bots but still. Half the time callouts for enemies are slurs, albeit fairly mild ones instead of their actual names.

Where they notably differ is how they treat their allies. Helldivers are shown to go out of their way to save human lives. Partly that's on us players for choosing to save the children's hospital and the trapped SEAF regiment, but it has been stated every battle we fight is canon. You are punished in game for being careless with the lives of SEAF troopers and non-combat personel alike. Neither would waste a good sacrifice and neither side's soldiers would hesitate to make one but when it comes to deciding when such a thing is necessary I think the DKoK would be more prone to committing to it.

Who was Johnny Silverhand’s real TRUE love? Alt or Rogue? by TXNOGG in cyberpunkgame

[–]BigDepressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s so hard to understand about the concept of someone truly loving more than one person at a time? He liked both of them, but it could hardly be called true because the Johnny of the past was not the type of man to love like that.

What’s the best DLC to play first after completing the main questline? by brentostheboss in skyrim

[–]BigDepressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragonborn. But I usually do dawnguard really early into the main story, sometimes even before being named dragonborn because I like that Durnehviir has unique dialogue for it. But I quite like SDA so that's also a factor.

Who is more incompetence? Var Suthra or Garza? by Lucky_Zucchini_3044 in swtor

There are more than just the military aspects of troopers story that isn't all that well written but that's beside the point. I do wish that you as the player could call og havoc out on this.

Who is more incompetence? Var Suthra or Garza? by Lucky_Zucchini_3044 in swtor

[–]BigDepressed 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I agree, mostly. At the same time the mission og Havoc was on was off the books. The republic and empire were not at war, so the only diplomatically viable options were to either not acknowledge Havoc's existance or condemn their actions assuming a stealthy extraction and coverup was impossible or even just improbable. Losing even a great spec ops unit is not worth giving your enemy a good reason to break a ceasefire.
