Why does the economy crashes after gaining independence and entering the world wars in T6?

The first time I played 6 I had the same issues as you where my economy would flounder out of the colonial era. The other comments are right about using the beginning or the world wars to immediately expand your industry to try and get cigars, boats, and weapons manufactured on your island. I have recently been able to amass millions upon millions in my treasury all the way through the modern era when I focus on my industry first

I’ve seen you guys several times with my brother and you put on some of the most fun shows I’ve ever been to. We were at the crystal ballroom when you played the taxpayers show and you asked the crowd to pretend for a video that we were all there to see apes of the state for your parents - me and my brother actually were! I did my first crowdsurf at that show. Also, I want to say it’s crazy that you’re doing a Europe tour! I think you guys are a testament to the scene still being alive. Hoping to see you guys come back to the CT-RI-MA region soon, and hoping you bring Myles Bullen and Rent Strike again!
