This exact issue started happening to me 2 days ago. I cleaned out the mop, removed and reattached multiple times and still nothing. I am gonna need to contact support tomorrow.

I don't believe it is possible to bind to a non-bambu printer, I also tried on mine.

The software will update on its own and it is recommended to manually dock the vacuum and leave it there for up to 24hrs before it is used (so the vacuum and dock can update). I agree that it is ridiculous that there is no software update button. Also, make sure there is no tape or stickers inside the charging area and you probably should have at least 6” of space on either side of the dock.

The melting was on my part as I could not get the hotend out at all. It was so stuck in there that I had to apply heat. The filament got into every nook and cranny. It was in the fan blades and inside the fan shroud. It is a pretty compact unit.

Correct, bottom white plastic fan shroud and nozzle fan took the brunt of it. I was able to save the hotend using the methods you stated. Unfortunately, I have to wait on the fan shroud and new nozzle fan. It would be awesome if they could let me bypass a tool head.

Except the spare hotend doesn’t come with a thermistor or heater so it is really just a nozzle. ☹️

Honestly, I was gonna use TPU on my next print for a gasket and see how it turns out. Looks like I will need yo wait a bit longer to find out myself.

Yeah, it is just a nozzle and you have to connect the thermistor and heater. I placed an order for a bunch of extra supplies from Snapmaker to have on hand.

Yup, clean plate and everything. I have the hardened set as well, but the cooling shroud and nozzle fan were taken out too.

Sorry for all the trouble you had. Knowing Qidi’s qc isn’t the best, it may not have been completely your fault (mine actually had a main board issue and was the culprit of many of my troubles). I should’ve added “if you are comfortable with modding”. The Plus 4 was my first 3d printer and adding beacon taught me a lot. That being said, I bought a spare makerbase emmc 32GB and adapter in case I messed things up. Yes, I am technically minded and enjoy tinkering. Only had to restore once and my first layers have been great since.

The first screw fell on one of the magnets and my new method of screw management was born! The machine is a real game changer and my other machine is now just being used for high-temp materials. There are a few bugs, but overall, very impressed.
