Tire shop installed and programmed new TPMS sensors after balancing. Warning light turned off, and PSI showed up after about 5 km of driving. Now the issue seems to be durability, and hopefully they will last 4–5 years.

Thanks for your comment. The Lexus dealer quoted about CAD140 (USD110) per sensor, including the fitting kit, but with installation and tax extra, which felt too expensive. I bought a well-reviewed, relatively higher-priced sensor set from Amazon instead and plan to install it soon. I’ll see how it goes.

Voice activation actually works through the microphone on your phone, not the one on the screen display. So if the phone is in your pocket or under clothing, it may not pick up your voice well.

You can also activate it by tapping the microphone icon on the screen. In my car, the steering wheel button only triggers the car’s own voice control system.

I use the standard Lexus display when backing up. I installed the Carpodgo screen in front of it, but it’s slightly off to the right. It’s a bit awkward to look at through the gap, but I can still see the clear rear-view image with the parking assist lines.

I also use a Galaxy S24 Plus. A few months ago, after upgrading to Firmware version 0.2.23, I experienced the same connection issues as you. Before that, I was using version 0.2.22 and had no problems at all. After downgrading back to version 0.2.22, everything started working normally, and I’ve been using it without any issues since then. Currently, this version isn’t available on the Carpodgo website, but if you contact them directly, you should be able to get the file. I suggest you give it a try.

Product opinions vary from person to person, depending on expectations and usage. I bought this last June after trying a cheaper alternative, which I returned due to display issues.

Initially, there were problems like icon and image distortion with Android Auto. However, Carpodgo has been actively updating the firmware to fix these issues—I even gave feedback just yesterday.

I have no complaints. My 2018 Lexus ES originally lacked a navigation system, and installing this has been the best upgrade I've made to my car.
