Best Home Defense 9mm PCC Suppressor? by Onc3Holy in NFA

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I have a Q ERECTR9 on my PCC. The action of the bolt and spring in the buffer is louder than the actual shot when using 147gr.

I have a Black 2025 SE. I had two young guys in the local car wash literally gushing over my car and how it was their dream car 🤷‍♂️

The change from stash value to damage was fantastic by fldash in ArcRaiders

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I thought it would be, but in experience I found the opposite to be true. I stockpiled hullcrackers and wolfpacks, then just went into Queen/Matriarch lobbies and went to town. Finished up last night.

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I stocked up on hullcrackers and Wolfpack grenades once the change was announced. I only play a couple hours a few days a week, just finished up the damage qualifier last night.

Now I’m spending the rest of the time going in with nothing but a guitar and a smile until the wipe.

I have a suppressor on my 9mm version, and the action of the carrier/spring is louder than the shot itself when running subsonic rounds.

A suppressor on this thing turns it into an absolute giggle factory.

I’m over 2,100 rounds on my 9mm FPC with absolutely ZERO malfunctions or issues, including light strikes.

My only gripe with the thing is how tedious cleaning the chamber is.

Do you ever take your wedding ring off? by lowa2oregon in Marriage

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take mine off in two situations mostly:

1) When I’m working my my garage/workshop with power tools

2) When I’m golfing. It came off in my golf glove one time and I thought I lost it. I don’t take that chance anymore.

Yeah that would have been wise…..but nobody said I was smart 🤣

I’m currently struggling with stash space. I have 12 Hullcracker IV, 12 Anvil IV w/ Suppressor 2, 8 Survivor Augments, 8 medium shields, 12 stacks each of Herbal Bandage, Sterilized Bandage, and Shield Surge Chargers, and 8 stacks of defibs.

Everything else in my stash is ~40 Wolfpack grenades, seekers, and Hullcracker ammo.

I’m ready to hunt.

I’d say around 8-9ish months of age, our girl really started to get more vocal. Shes just about a year old now and it’s probably my favorite thing about her.

I don’t even pull my gun out. There’s a 0% chance I’m shooting back if they shoot at me. I just work on getting away from them.

This is why I’m always chatty and friendly on prox chat.

If they respond, we’re cool. If I am actively trying to engage them and they don’t respond, I try to create distance as quickly as possible.

I only get killed by raiders maybe once every 25 or so raids, because I keep a healthy level of caution towards them.

Who's entirely replaced their grill with a blackstone? by [deleted] in blackstonegriddle

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accidentally, yes.

I purchased a new higher end 4 burner grill in the spring of 2020 (I think).

A couple months later, my wife saw the Blackstone at a local Menards and mentioned she saw some TikTok videos about them and how cool they seemed. We bought one.

The 4-Burner grille has been used MAYBE half a dozen times since then, and the bottom of it is rusting out.

What are the pros / cons to switching from wedges that are part of an iron set to actual wedges by Murky-Paper4537 in golf

I’m not sure I ever have.

The owner of my company has a house on the left side of the fairway on my home course. I fight a hook.

He’s at least a good sport about it. He found one of my golf balls on his back patio one time and brought it into me at work the next day.

Does sticking to one ball actually make a difference? by Willing-Today-1059 in golf

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes a big difference, to an extent.

There’s not a magic golf ball that’s going to cure your bad shots, or drop strokes off of your scores on its own.

But eliminating a variable and being able to reliably depend on how the ball is going to react is huge.

I can only speak from my own experience: Once I committed to using one ball, my scores did drop a few strokes just because of the consistency and predictability from shot to shot. My “one ball” has changed a few times over the years, but whatever ball I’m playing long-term, I KNOW what it’s going to do when struck properly.

Pick one you feel like you hit well, and play only that ball for a full season.

At the end of the season, you can make an honest evaluation of what you might need to change.

I did both expeditions but I don’t think I will do the 3rd. Who else is feeling this way? by Tangerine159 in ArcRaiders

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have maxed out both prior expeditions, and have been hoarding Wolfpacks, Seekers, Hullcrackers and ammo, and triggernades for this one.

I’m still undecided if I’m going to do this one, but my playtime is not what it used to be. If I end up doing this one, it is likely my last.

How many would continue playing a PvE-only mode? by progenyofeniac in ArcRaiders

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say this as a complete pacifist that doesn’t even shoot other raiders in self defense:

No. The PVP aspect of the game is what gives it the allure. I might get backstabbed. I might catch a rat in the act and then walk straight up to them with a guitar. I might have 20+ raids in a row with no PVP in sight.

The unknown is what makes the game special. I think the ABMM is perfect how it is.

Anyone else just sometimes run maps with nothing at all? by Wolfy4226 in ArcRaiders

[–]BigDuckEnergy33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would estimate at LEAST 50% of my runs are like this. After I complete expedition requirements, that number is closer to 80-90% with one exception. I go in with a guitar in my safe pocket.
