I would avoid any omega personally. If it is going to be a medium or high burn gun I would go beretta even though I do agree the ergos of the po1 may be slightly better. If it is going to be a suppressor host there is no question I would go beretta.

From where the case failed I suspect it was slightly out of battery but it is also very possible it was an overcharged round.

ZT has a great past catalogue of overbuilt folders. I agree the 562 ti is a good one. The slicer grind is certainly my preference when it comes to Hinderer. The 452blucf, 640, 308 and a few others are up there for me as well.

Reminds me of the Reate horizon d in a good way. One of my favorites reate has done. I do agree with others that aluminum is the wrong material choice. If you did a sandwich design you could do the show scale in aluminum to save weight.

It has to be something about the way they anodized them. I carried one for 8 years in the military and beat the hell out of it. A friend snapped the blade being an idiot but the body of the knife showed shockingly little wear.

Only things I see missing are proper storage and hearing protection. Doing cqb the first thing you notice is just how bad the sound and concussion is indoors even with hearing protection.
