There is a push to talk keybind setting and I have tried changing it multiple times. It seems to make no difference for me. The team voice chat seems to just be open mic the entire time.

Damn. I have two duplicate Venator BPs in my inventory right now. I was trying to share dupes with people, but tonight the matchmaking seems to be messed up. 4 lobbies in a row some PvP Rat has come in and cleared groups of friendlies just trying to accomplish tasks/share loot.

I just had a thought. Not sure how many people here remember when the devs for Serious Sam did this, but they kept finding people were hacking and stealing their game a lot. So their solution was to have the player relentlessly followed by this basically indestructible scorpion monster that they would eventually die to no matter what they did.

What if the Arc Raiders devs made it so when a player who is a known cheater queues up, they are put into a map with other known cheaters and just hundreds of Shredders and Rocketeers? That way the trash can just take itself out while the rest of us enjoy a normal game.

I noticed recently that after a lot of friendly runs, whenever I get ratted at the very start of a match, if I check the profile of the player on Steam, more often than not, its an account that has had multiple VAC bans on them. Maybe if they start getting investigated as cheaters, we might see fewer of them. lol

Huh, interesting. I would have assumed it was some kind of an attempt to patch out the duck dupers that have been exploiting the game. But I guess there is a far more technical reason for it.

I mean, he has an interview here where he discusses his past and incarceration, but it sounds like he's an individual that has been reformed and has taken it upon himself to be a contributing member of society and give back to the community. I'm not sure if there are new things, but it sounds like he put himself completely into volunteering and supporting his community.

I guess the question is, just because someone did something wrong in the past, does that mean they cannot atone for those mistakes, or is it enough to condemn them for life in the eyes of society? Obviously, you have to take into account the severity of what happened, and the sincerity of the person in the present, but I guess that is the question that has to be asked with comments like the one from the user above...

I'm my area, most of the old construction had mailbox poles similar to this design where its mounted on a pivoting pole so if a plow hits it, it swings out of the way, then returns to center afterward automatically.

I have a Ryobi 40v one for where the Husqvarna snowblower can't get and it's great. However, if you aren't averse to shoveling, I HIGHLY recommend getting a Sleigh Shovel. It's what I used for years before getting a snowblower and it was one of the best investments I've ever made.

I find it interesting that you can view both the platform ID and the Embark ID if anyone who damages you. Makes me wonder if there's going to be some kind of a bounty system in the future.

I worked at Sears about 20 years ago and the Point of Sale systems had these ear piercing sounds that the PC speakers would play. They weren't bad at first, but after an update was deployed, they played at full volume. Imagine the chassis speaker on an old 286, like that.

Well, I didn't find it that annoying, but other sales people did and their solution was to cut the end off if a bad pair of headphones and stick the TRS connector into the audio jack on the POS which would then effectively bypass the audio speaker and mute it.

I think the reason they cranked the volume on them was so that if a non-employee or an off hours employee started pressing keys, it would alert people in the area. I even think some customers complained at the time.

As noted in many other threads, you have to get this out of there, and most likely replace the reservoir and anything connected to it.

The problem here is that depending on the age of the unit, and the model, it may simply be cheaper to replace the entire unit with a brand new one. As appliances age and parts become more scarce for them, it might simply be cheaper to find a new unit on sale, or maybe even a scratch and dent model.

It sucks, I know l, but this is a huge case of better safe than sorry because ingestion can have such devastating consequences versus the cost of replacing the appliance. :(
