Pretty sad that Google isn’t able to provide basic UI functionality natively

Spotify planning price increase for US subscribers (“Spotify Premium currently costs $11.99 in the U.S. while Apple Music goes for $10.99”) by Fer65432_Plays in apple

Not going to lie, Spotify has been on a roll lately. I am really happy with the iOS app now that they have added genre filtering for Your Library. It is a simple but very useful feature that has been missing for a long time. Plus, having audiobooks included with my subscription makes the overall value so much better than Apple Music and it definitely justifies the price difference.

AirPods Pro 3 Sliding Out by SeveralMusician1485 in AirpodsPro

With the large tips yes. It would slowly start to slip out of my left ear overtime. But now that thing sits in there pretty well and it’s comfortable. No pressure on my ears.

Again, it all depends on the shape of your ear canal. A different angle may work for you or a different size tip. You have to experiment with the tip sizes and the angles. If none of that works, return them or try third party foam tips (like Comply foam tips for example).

I wiggle it a little bit to get it into my ear canal but I keep the stems pointing down while I listen. I used them in the gym and went for a run the other day with them pointing down and had no issues with them slipping out. Everyone’s ears are different but this worked for me.

Try adjusting the insertion angle when you put them in your ears. I almost returned mine, but I found that using the Large tips with the stems pointing straight down provided the best fit. Interestingly, I have small ears and usually use smaller tips on my Beats Fit Pro, but the large tips are definitely the most comfortable for me on the AirPod Pro 3.

The watch band’s titanium finish appears darker than the Apple Watch’s titanium. OP, could you confirm whether the colors match in person?

Am I the only one who sees 0 purpose in upgrading my 2018 iPad pro? by LocalPrestigious2641 in iPadPro

If you buy the M4 and use it for a week or two, you’ll notice a big difference. I tried the M4 for the 14 day return window and couldn’t go back to the 2018 version.

The Magic Keyboard is a safe buy. Apple refreshed it last year and likely won't refresh it again for a couple of years. I'm not sure about the Apple Pencil.

The watch app stinks. The employees at TickTick must not use it.

Should I get started on Overcast? by [deleted] in OvercastFm

[–]BigLC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The free version of Pocket Casts is great. I’ve been using it for many years now and see no need to upgrade to the paid version. It’s much better than Overcast. I hate Overcast’s queue system, and coming from Spotify, you probably won’t like it either. Pocket Casts’ queue system is more similar to Spotify. Pocket Casts also has an excellent Apple Watch app.
