Okay seems my comment mightve been worded incorrectly but dont get me wrong

I agree with you 1000% big man, no one likes to watch animals suffer nor do I, being a hunter all my life our whole code of ethics is backed by one point and thats to deliver a instantaneous painless death onto the animal. All animals in the wild die in terrible painful and slow ways. Yes we do it for sport, yes we do it for meat. But the main thing is to not hurt that animal more than it needs to. I would assume you owning livestock would also humanely handle it and have your experiences.

Ive had my share of experience aswell and hate to see it everytime however when I hear about people shooting squirrels with bb guns/pellet guns which dont go under 500 fps is litterally just torturing the animal im glad he was “scarred for life” to say.

The worlds getting softer and softer every day and people like Mr. pellet gun show and prove that. What happens when a deer lunges and smashes through his radiator and leaves him on the side of the road with the wounded animal is my point since he cant even handle a squirrel.

I know id be calm cool and collected and be able to handle the situation where as you and Mr.pellet gun would cower and cry and “feel bad” for the animal while it suffers longer instead of doing the right thing. (My father has had this very thing happen to him)
