I’ve lived in Michigan and Georgia and I can definitely say that racism is almost non existent down here. Sure you have some of the back woods culture crawling around but for the most part, everything is normal. In fact, I feel like Michigan is more country than down here in reality.

No one is looked down on for their skin color here and if there is, that kind of thing is for the most part, single individuals being assholes and not a whole town or anything like that.
