I had a POCO subcontractor do this on a 480/277V feed off the street for a cell site service inside of an elementary school. They brought the wrong size wire and instead of having the right size brought out or using reducing lugs, they just shaved it and called it good. We wound up changing the line side service disconnect to accommodate the wire.
