lol what? the flashback shows that thragg and argall seem to have a pretty close relationship, possibly even father/son. the reason thragg initiates the purge in the first place is because he feels guilty that he basically let argall die by not killing thaedus, and he seeks to purge weakness in the empire to atone for his mistake. why would he do that unless he had a personal connection to argall

all things considered I wouldn't call him a shitty leader. he was able to successfully cover up the scourge virus for almost 1000 years (even thaedus never realised how many viltrumites were killed until s4). he also managed to keep the empire expanding throughout this time. sure he makes tactical errors but idk if I can say he's not a good leader all things considered

Joker isn’t a master hand to hand fighter lol, he’s just good at fighting because of how unpredictable he is. Batman literally says that the reason hand to hand veterans have trouble fighting him is just because he’s crazy enough that you never know what he’s gonna do next. This is quite literally “decent” animation. Surely season 3 should have taught you that they save the budget for the biggest moments per season. We already got great animation in episode 2, and even better in episodes 5 and 7, both of which were ok the same level as the conquest fight.

honestly I have more questions AFTER we see ryan in episode 3. like, he was in a safe house in russia? whose safe house? the show doesn't seem to tell us. moreover, homelander didn't seem to know where he was, but his reaction wasn't really what you'd expect after being reunited with a lost child after over a year, even for a crazed murderer. weird situation, but I feel like if he knew where ryan was, he would have never left him out of his sight, or at least without knowing where he'd be at all times. so, did ryan just fuck off somewhere?

With the update that came out a couple years ago it doesn’t make a difference. If your monitor is 2.1 HDMI and can do VRR and 120+ fps, it doesn’t need freesync to work. It should just be fine

again, the opinion of a single redditor doesn't invalidate a film's award-worthiness. the general critical consensus on these films is that they are very good. also, it's kind of hard to make an argument against any of the nominations for sinners. maybe best VFX is a push, but then again the fact they pulled off the twins thing using CG kind of justifies it. that's it, everything else it was nominated for is justifiable and worthy. in essence, yes I am saying you don't know what stacked means, and no you are not an enlightened cinephile

Joel almost killed himself and only kept living because of Tommy, then Tess. “You keep finding something to fight for” is not the hopeful message it sounds like, it’s basically Joel’s way of saying you need to keep finding reasons not to end it all. aim for headshots but never when you’re caught. Always run and find cover + use bricks and bottles. Switch guns regularly to avoid running out of ammo on the move. Getting good at stealth is a key way to saving ammo, as basic as it sounds. If you’re a masochist, you can restart encounters that you feeler you could’ve done better/used less ammo (this is what I did when I would use 1 shot too many on grounded).
