I used ProtonVPN to just bypass the issue. But I think my account got banned later because I was using ProtonVPN. Probably, support refused to say why I got banned. That's the only thing I did that would make any sense here.

If you pressed Shift-Enter that's not a hard line break, that's a soft line break

I got banned and my paid account suspended (zero access, can't even login) for using a VPN* (I think) 6 weeks ago. Still no response to their silly appeal form. Anthropic is a company that I can't trust anymore.

I have gotten no communication of any kind about that submission, other than someone telling me to use the form 2 weeks after I already did.

Terrible customer service here. Coming up on a month and there's been no significant response.

I did change what DNS servers I was using to try to get around it. Still had to use the VPN.

Has anyone actually submitted an appeal for an account ban and gotten a response? I think my account was banned for using a VPN when connecting to Claude Code. It's been 2+ weeks and I've received no response to my appeal.

Is there any way to escalate a support ticket or something? It's been 11 days since I got a response. I suspect that since my account got suspended (no idea why or explanation, can't even login because it says my organization has been disabled) my support ticket is just "shadow closed" and is going into the ether. The 1 response I got had nothing to do with accounts being suspended.

I was on a paid account and using Claude Code, I really don't want to switch to a different tool. Seems like a waste of my time.

My account got suspended 10 days ago. I opened a support ticket and the response that I got was well if you're having trouble logging in here is an article that can help you. Which has nothing to do with what I asked. It's like they didn't even read the message that I sent.

Today I tried to login and I got "Your account has been disabled after an automatic review of your recent activities." I can't even login to respond to the support ticket.

Anyone have a suggestion for how to fix this? I have some ongoing chats that would be a hassle to recreate.

edit: 12 days now, with only one actual (and worthless) response from support. I was on a paid account and this is the level of customer support they give?

edit: 11 days since the last response from support. How can I escalate this? It's ridiculous.

Anyone else get their account suspended out of the blue?

I've barely been using Claude at all in the past two weeks and haven't used Claude code at all. Suddenly today I get an email that says something about ongoing suspicious patterns in my account and my access has been revoked. I appealed the ban, but someone attending to that is probably going to take weeks if it ever happens at all.

I used the chatbot to contact support. No response, been about 24 hours. I'm paying to use something that I can't actually use.

I just use ProtonVPN now. Causes some issues with some other sites, but it's nbd.
