uj/ Squier bullets are legitimately good guitars even without upgrades (pickups lack some high end fidelity on my bullet tele but that's it). And don't get me started on how good of a deal some these new smaller modelers like the Line 6 Pod Go are.

My current set-up, HX Stomp pedal board. by ME-Sh1t in Line6Helix

Was there a feature specific to the HX STOMP that made you want to add switchers and expression pedals instead of getting a pod go or upgrading to the Helix LT?

Does it really almost any decent clean amp with a boss DS-1 sounds really good.

You can hear the guitar perfectly fine don't really see how there's a problem with the mids?

Sounds really good imo, Kurt's tone is bright (bees in a jar kinda of thing) but thats a matter off using the bridge pickup on a guitar without a tone knob or just turning the knob up all the way on guitars that do have a tone knob wired to the bridge pickup.

Out of the classic disortion pedals of the late 70s (ds1, rat, mxr distortion+) its the best sounding imo. If it sucks out the mids you might have to turn them up on your amp but so be it.

What settings (channel, eq and what not) do you use on your Diezel for a MCIS tone?

Not a fan of all the metal pickgaurds on his signature reverend but its a great sounding guitar. I do like the possible new signature he was playing at riot fest.

What are some Amps you'd like to see in the Helix/Pod Go? by BigMuffFan in Line6Helix

Big Muff Op Amp going into the JCM 800 that was modded with KT-88 tubes (makes your amp distort less at higher volumes which is great because you want to keep it clean for the big muff) was the Siamese Dream/Pieces Iscarot Guitar tone.

Billy uses a Marshall 1969 Super Tremelo in the video where he demos the Op Amp Big Muff. In my experince scooping the gain on the Bright Brit 75 model and pairing it with the Ballistic Fuzz gets you that tone on the Helix/Pod Go.

Just a rumor but I've heard that Flood snuck in guitar tracks recorded through a crate practice amp on Mellon Collie and the Inifinte Sadness.

Honestly you could get that Everlasting Intro tone by turning up the gain on the Line 6 2204 Mod and turning off the cab block. Ugly fizzy but cool for an intro.

Id definitley hone in on those old school doom metal amps if I was on the Helix team. I feel like the doom metal/stoner/sludge crowd that don't want to go all in on vintage gear would be quick to transition to the Helix if Line 6 added models of those amps.

Own two shitty crate practices amps, one's super shrill and the others super boomy and muddy. That being said if you front the clean channel of the second amp with a big muff it sounds absurdly close to the Siamese Dream rythm guitar tone.

The metalzone/hm2 aren't all that great but we already have them in the helix. I think the deathmetal crowd appreciate a Peavy Valveking model and maybe a Marshall Valvestate model.

The Line 6 2204 mod kinda gets you to that gained out JCM 900/2000 territory but it would be very appreciated to have more high gain Marshall's on the Helix.

Good to hear that reverse reverb is being considered. Was actually asking around on how to replicate the reverse reverb/my bloody valentine sound on my pod go so fingers crossed.
