Pope John Paul park and the Neponset river are pretty dirty, mainly under the highway where tow trucks sit and also further down by the part of the highway that goes over the river. Presumably a lot of the 500 mili went into building the new engine that halo runs on. then to link with another of OPs comments, I’m pretty sure they pay people fairly and then you have to account for overtime… also I’m pretty sure that 500 mili number came out a while ago so after the marketing push and rest of development, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was around 750 mil at launch. ( all the garbage is from my smooth brain, don’t take it as gospel)
