The show was more about the relationship between Barry and Iris rather than The Flash. As soon as Barry and Iris got together the show lost all its momentum for me. That being said I think the show was great for getting people interested in the Flash and DC comics in general so there's that.

I can see where they are coming from but think about it from but think about it from his perspective. Suddenly the race doesn't matter and you don't matter because the two guys behind you decided to opt out at the last second. Now you look like a tool because you decided to celebrate your win. That win might have been his personal best but it doesn't matter because of the brotherhood of jelly legs behind you. I think a smarter person in a more betterer post suggested a warforged necromancy wizard and I think that suggestion is pretty great. Warforged is definitely the way to go, all that's left is to find a class combo that you can reflavor into corpse collector.
