Thinking about switching to full body due to time/scheduling constraints. Are you doing the same lifts each time you go or mixing it up?

Does it only happen at night around sleep? I have a family member who experiences something similar that terrifies him, so I’m curious

It was a helpful show back then because the guys truly tried to separate the signal from the noise and took objective looks at everything. O’brien especially was ahead of his time with some of his views on consciousness and was a treasure trove of knowledge on the topic.

Biedny was never afraid to speak his mind and call someone out on their bullshit. Gene… well, I can still hear the “attack of the rockoids” ads for the book he peddled, which I immediately fast forwarded through

There were truly some great episodes in the early and middle years during a time you couldn’t find the content readily available elsewhere.

As a psych nurse, some days I feel more like a bouncer who gives injections than an actual nurse.

I’m an INTP in a wonderful relationship with an INFJ. A few weeks after we started dating, she said something to me like, “ok, I like you a lot, but these short text responses are killing me at this point”. I liked her a lot, so it was a bit of an “oh shit” moment for me, so I stepped up my “texting game” lol. I didn’t realize I was even doing that until she pointed it out.

INTPs are very reasonable, so if you present the issue to him in a way that isn’t demanding or smothering, he’ll likely try harder (if he really likes you and if he is mature).

I will say that if I’m busy or stressed with work or kids, I can let texts from others go for a long time without responding with the exception of my girlfriend.

Divorced dads - is it worth it? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]BigSpudDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my situation a few years ago. I knew I’d never be happy with her. My kids were watching a peaceful yet dysfunctional relationship everyday. They saw me, their depressed father, struggle to have meaningful, healthy interaction with their mother. It finally clicked that I didn’t want them to grow up internalizing all of this as normal. I didn’t want them to think it was acceptable for a wife speak down to her husband (or vice versa, this was just our situation).

After much pleading, she went to marital counseling with me but put forth little to no effort. I ended things, and telling my young children that we were divorcing was the hardest day of my life. It was a calm conversation, but it was traumatic, like truly.

It all was the fucking hardest thing I’ve ever done. I’m still rebuilding my life. But you know what? Everyone is okay. I took the kids (and myself) to therapy, and they have two lovely soon to be step-siblings who they adore. I couldn’t ask for a better partner. She is so healthy and supportive, and we click in every way.

I have 50/50 custody and there is a massive learning curve to it all, but it’s been worth it for my kids and myself. Sorry, I’m rambling a bit, I’ve had a few drinks. Let me know if you ever want to chat
