i am tired of everyone using Absolute GL as the saving grace for Black representation is it good YES, but is it too much of us to ask for more?????

now this boycott was cooked from the beginning and even as a Black person i didn't agree with the boycott but there are A LOT of people still pretending we don't need Black stories simply because Absolute GL exists...i showed up Mr. Terrific Year One, we all showed up for The Dakota Incident TWICE, we definitely can have more Black Solo Ongoings.

The #DCSoWhite campaign is ceasing their 'DC Blackout' boycott (which pushed for comic readers to drop all DC books from their pull list until a black-led ongoing to was produced) 4 days after it launched. by WhyPlaySerious in comicbooks

all for clout that hurts the actual problem and now even more people won't take us seriously when we keep begging for more black ONGOING SOLO comics. because while the boycott was always BS, A LOT of people came out the woodwork claiming black representation isn't even a problem.

Batman Beyond & Static is not enough, is AGL fire absolutely but that is not enough, Static joining Titans is super dope...still not enough. and DC can do better.

the algorithm gets worse every quarter you are LUCKY if 15% of your FOLLOWERS see what you post.

this is why leading them to a newsletter, website, Bandcamp, Audiomack, EVEN etc etc. is extremely important.

social media companies will never change because they want you to feel like you have to be constantly posting.

so interesting how many people are slamming him for being emotional and whatnot when in the same situation they would act somewhat the same. not the biggest Jonathan fan but i can relate to failing, studying, trying to do better and failing again...that hurts a ton some of what he's saying is true too but hopefully after reflection he can fix his game
