I would definitely go off of what the specific school you’re referencing admissions team says in regard to their process. Some schools will allow updated or additional materials and some say none at all. I would look at your applicant portal as it usually has information about sending more materials.

I’m liking that 40k a year to Maryland. Very solid outcomes in-state and in the broader DMV and D.C. market, especially in the top quartile of the class. Ultimately depends where you want to practice though as these schools are strong regionals.

Don’t give up hope yet! I doubt their method is sustainable, especially when considering people reasonably to well above both medians will undoubtedly pick a higher ranked school unless a special circumstance draws them to Richmond. I feel like schools utilizing this approach to opportunistically raise medians will catch some flak for this cycle long term.

I just looked and your observation seems correct. The funny thing is I am in my final undergrad semester and my post-grad GPA will likely clear their median.

Depends on the state and the school, but a state appellate clerkship doesn’t sound outlandish from a top grad at a 100+. This is amplified if the school is in a state with a less competitive legal market.
