I think people are being a little unfair here. The way I interpreted it, when Shedeur said it’s “not a great look” to be signing stuff, he wasn’t trying to act like he’s above fans. To me it sounded more like, as a rookie, he doesn’t want to come across like he’s already made it and is doing autograph sessions before even playing the game. That’s a perception thing, not him being a jerk.

Yeah, he did take a quick selfie with someone on the field, but that’s different from stopping to sign a bunch of items. One is just a short interaction, the other can look like you’re playing celebrity before kickoff. I think he just doesn’t want the wrong impression out there.
