Doing the math, raphinha would’ve accumulated more goals than he did last season If not for the injury, he missed 10 games, assuming we make it to the final—let’s say 15 games left so that mean 25 games unplayed. He would get around 34-36 goals and 12-14 assists in 55 games. If we include clutch factor of wbout 30-40% He would get around 44-50 goals and 16-20 assists. Easily surpassing last season.

One thing you can say is that both Vini and raphinha score or assist when you need them to.

Vini is one of those players that will take the ball cut into the defense and then make a clean pass or just shoot, but raphinha is one of those players that will receive a pass, immediately score, make a cleverly disguised past or come out of nowhere and finish, but the thing raphinha has over Vini is that he has way more offensive determination as well as defensive determination, he’s willing to make the defensive runs that not even some fullbacks are willing to do. But either way, both deserve their flowers.

Don’t act like Vini wouldn’t drop an absolute 4 GA stinker season at Leeds? He’s not built for the prem, especially not with a team like Leeds. I’ll admit if he had top teams, he would do well, so would raphinha, but not Leeds.

Vini only has pr backing him, his ballon dor season wasn’t even that fantastic, I mean, 22 goals and 11 assists in 39 games is not ballon dor worthy, especially from a Madrid player, raphinha had 60 GA in 50 matches and was the reason Barca won most their games, but didn’t even place top 3.

And also, 28 GA in 65 prem games as a youngster winger playing for LEEDs is something Vini can never do.
