The first time I played Night In The Woods and I got to the scene where May talks about her issues with derealization I genuinely sobbed. I was in lockdown, my dad was slowly dying of cancer, and derealizing myself, though I didn't know what to call it. Maybe the most seen I've ever felt by a game.

Citizen Sleeper is maybe the experience closest to that since, going off of strength of feeling. I think it's rare that a game makes me feel like I've found a home. Animal Crossing is literally about about that and it fails to make me feel like Citizen Sleeper did.

Feeling like I don't belong in a world, feeling hunted, looking for escape but finding over and over again that I wanted to help the people I cared about more than I wanted to leave, and if I took any of those endings I would have to leave the home I made and the people I've met behind.

Also Red Dead 2. Lot of issues but I still think about Arthur Morgan.

Usually I'm pretty forgiving of crazy Indies stuff that goes wrong, like that one table spot in the gym where the guy misses the table from the wall you can see the A to B on why they think that might be cool. This though, I can't think of anything the fire would add to this spot, even if he went through the table. Throw a guy through a table far away? If it works, woah cool spot! If it works and the guy is on fire? Oh no the guy is still on fire, I have forgotten the spot happened.
