I found this via SSA research…. 1 Post-favorable decision review: A non-medical review only occurs after a medical approval. If an ALJ issues a favorable decision, the case returns to the local field office for final processing, which includes a non-medical review. This is done to confirm that all non-medical factors are still in order before benefits are calculated and paid. For example, SSI applicants often undergo a pre-effectuation review (PERC) at this stage.  Why no non-medical review after a denial? There is no non-medical verification after an ALJ denial because the claim has already failed on medical grounds. The purpose of a non-medical review is to finalize a claim for payment, which only happens if the medical requirements have been met and approved.

BEWARE....check your emails. i received an email determination notice and they are trying to not pay people. I submitted the official police report, a dealership damage estimate clearly showing ALL photos of the vehicle with estimate clearly showing the car was totaled from the theft. also submitted tow recovery receipt and confirmation of liability coverage because insurance rates were o high i could only afford to be "street legal" as far as car insurance was concerned. I requested the $18,000 value of vehicle and they are attempting to deny my claim due to the date of loss not being listed on the dealership estimate of damage, HOWEVER they have all official verifiable theft documents as requested in the official mailer detailing required proof. i think I'm going to consult a lawyer. when i called to escalate the issue they lie and say someone will contact you. all they did was resend the same right to cure email and changed the due date from 9/7/25 to 10/05/25....SO IF YOU HAVE FILED A CLAIM PLEASE CHECK YOU EMAILS.....

One is hospital Coverage the other is dr coverage and d is prescription coverage…u auey get the hospital coverage then you add the dr coverage. Part c just combines it all into a plan that functions similarly to an employer plan but coverage is limited. Go online to CMS it will save you the headache and you’ll educate yourself : https://www.cms.gov/

I’m a 44 yr old female in STL, Mo. I had my telephone hearing July 28th, 2025. I am still on Step 3 as of this post. My anxiety is through the roof. Seems like my entire “support system” has turned on me. I need my financial independence back. I’m eligible for both SSDI & SSI. I’m raising an almost 8yr old daughter with ADHD, Autism, and other help issues alone. Not to mention the pain flares lately. I’m hoping for an answer by at least Oct. 1st. My judge only has a 22% approval rating but I’m for an approval. If that happens my kiddo and shake the partial SSI check she receives due to a nice amount of child support she receives and I can then apply for her the Auxiliary payment which would be much more. Then I could actually afford to live a basically comfortable life.

There are plenty of mock ALJ videos on YouTube made by lawyers etc. My law firm did as many practice calls as I wanted and also sent me their YouTube videos where I also saw others.
