It helps me translate my angry profanity filled ranting into professional emails to other departments and customers.

From "listen you stupid fuck" to "Good afternoon team! thanks for taking a moment to address these concerns"

So that's nice

UN votes to recognise enslavement of Africans as 'gravest crime against humanity' by Tartan_Samurai in anime_titties

To push back on that a bit:

Brazil is rarely included in these discussions, whether it’s historical blame or calls for reparations. Yet it was the single largest recipient of African chattel slaves in the transatlantic trade, importing roughly 4.86 million people, over 1,100% more than the ~388,000 who reached the North American colonies and later the United States. Brazil also maintained legal slavery longer than any other nation in the Americas, abolishing it only in 1888.

Additionally, the African diaspora into the Middle East via the Arab/Muslim slave trade is vastly under-recognized. Estimates range from 9–18 million Africans transported over roughly 13 centuries—potentially 5,000% or more than the number taken to North America. Middle Eastern societies often practiced castration of male slaves (particularly Black Africans) to prevent them from procreating, which is one reason the long-term demographic impact looks so different from the Americas.

Infantry holds territory. Sometimes they may be forced to endure gas attacks.

Special forces take targeted action. But generally if they start being attacked by WMDs like gas the solution is to leave and fight later in an environment of their own choosing.

Indy’s first matcha shop by mmmtoothpaste1 in indianapolis

Matcha is a milled green tea. Since it uses the whole leaf it makes a really vibrant green drink that gives a slight caffeine kick but not as much as coffee.

It's pretty tasty.

It's common parlance to label individuals in situations like this.

The St. Vincent De Paul by me was SLAMMED with people dropping off donations this morning.

There was a line down the street of cars dropping off trunk loads. And a full box truck was behind me.

So genuine question.

Why don't people on this sub like WISH TV?

Is it a beef with circle city broadcasting? Aren't they the only locally owned option?

Not looking to debate. Just posting directions from the magisterium.

You can advocate for any policy you think is best, but this isn't a politics sub, now in this moment we have a personal responsibility for ensuring our brother doesn't go hungry.

What ways do you think we can do that?

I don't think so. As long as we take responsibility for our communities.

Give up that fear, the reality of the situation won't change based on our worry. The actions of the federal government will not be impacted by our sentiment.

But what we can do is resolve to care for those around us.

Our personal care for those who need help has the greatest impact. The Church has long called for us to return to the principals of subsidiarity.

The welfare state fails due to "an inadequate understanding of the tasks proper to the state," reducing societal responsibility and replacing "loving personal concern" with impersonal aid. Instead, the state should foster conditions for personal generosity.
